What to expect

There will be eight categories of questions, with your lowest scoring paper being dropped. DON'T expect questions on local TV shows and such, DO expect questions with a more global context. Remember, this competition will be taking place all over the world, so the questions have to reflect the diverse nature of the people taking part.

The questions are likely to be different and tougher than those you might be used to - this is the World Quizzing Championships after all! - so just have fun, answer as many as you can and see how you do against quizzers from all corners of the planet.
