Battle of the Brains!

How the Competition Works

The World Quizzing Championships take the form of a written quiz that is sat simultaneously around the world. Each competitor faces exactly the same questions (translated into their mother tongue in many cases - and even into braille) at exactly the same time.

There are 240 questions, divided into eight categories, and 90 minutes in which to answer them. At the end of the 90 minutes, the papers are marked and each quizzers' top seven marks will be added together to find the winner.
